Colour Your World, Your Way.
Paint Pot is a fun and vibrant collection of 39 bold, bright plain and patterned fabrics, allowing you to confidently create schemes in contemporary colour combinations to reflect your personality. Don’t shy away from layered patterns and colours; this collection dares you to let your style shine through.
These block-striped curtains in our Studio Stripe Navy, Ochre and Mist showcase how it is possible to inject striking colour and character into an otherwise neutral scheme using patterned fabrics from Paint Pot.
Practical, Reversible Plains.
Alongside bold colour and pattern, this collection includes 19 plains, perfect for those who appreciate simple yet versatile fabrics. These textiles feature a subtle napped finish, working tonally with many designs from not only this collection, but our core collections and tickings too!
This bedroom features layers on layers of stripes and plains beautifully paired alongside Shaker of Malvern’s Enfield Four Poster Bed in complementing tones of ochre, creating an eclectic vibe. Don’t be afraid to mix different patterns, but try to maintain a sense of cohesion.
Bold colour and pattern.
When Ian Mankin founded our company in 1983, his vision was to take well-crafted, natural fabrics and transform them into fashionable and beautiful interior schemes. He coined the term “accessible elegance,” which continues to guide us today, offering uncomplicated, straightforward products crafted from natural fibres by skilled artisans. While this collection stays true to our roots, it also introduces a striking new colour palette in our classic checks and stripes.
playful patterned upholstery.
This upholstered sofa in our Palette Stripe Cinder provides this living room with the most iconic centrepiece. Consider mixing and matching soft furnishings in similar hues for a cohesive and stylish look.
Striking fabric walls.
Our Palette Stripe Maple brings depth and personality to this dining area while also acting as a form of insulation. The Edward Bulmer natural paints featured on the bench and walls in Light Olive Green and Clove harmonise beautifully with the colours in the woven designs, allowing the stripes to become the star of the show. Did you know fabric was traditionally used to line walls long before wallpaper was invented?
Our Weaving Process.
Our mill isn’t your run-of-the-mill operation (see what we did there) – it’s a living legacy, pulsating with the dedication of generations. Nestled in Burnley, Lancashire, a place where there were once more looms than there were people, our family-owned establishment has woven fabrics for over 150 years. As tides shifted in the industry, our mill didn’t miss a beat.
While others faded, we persisted, steadfastly weaving through challenges. Through our resilience, we’ve not only sustained our craft but also upheld the livelihoods of our local community, keeping the spirit of textile manufacturing alive and thriving. Our aim through the Paint Pot collection was to develop fabrics that blend our signature classic design with bold, joyful colour — creating a collection that brings instant fun to our range and gives our customers the fabrics they need to get creative with their interior spaces.
